About you:
We’re looking for a designer who always puts the user first, enjoys working in a tight-knit international team, and thrives in an openminded and fast-paced work environment. You need to be digital native in your mindset. You also must have a swedish understanding of language and culture.

About us:
Since launch in 2013, Omni.se has grown to become one of the biggest news services in Sweden. Last fall, we added two new economy news services in Sweden and Norway; Omni Economy and My E24.

Our editors gather news from hundreds of Swedish and international news sources every day. Through collection and curation, our editors continuously create a balanced selection of news in our popular news apps. The users can adjust their own news mix and follow topics that interest them, giving them a unique option to deep-dive into selected subjects.

The Omni product team is a tight-knit group of 13 people working in Stockholm, Gdansk, and Oslo. Our philosophy is to focus on our users’ problems, letting that guide us when building successful products and businesses.

The jobs to be done
We’re looking at a packed schedule in the coming months and need a visual designer for a variety of different design tasks. We want you to:
– Continous development of our existing products
– Create visual design systems for several products
– Develop visual prototypes in collaboration with the team
– Produce multiple design directions for outlined concepts
– Take part in our design studios and sketching sessions

Skills needed:
– Expert understanding of visual design
– Interest and passion for editorial and news design
– Good knowledge of iOS and Android design patterns and guidelines
– Passionate and curious about society, people, design, and news
– Strong ability to collaborate across locations, functions, and teams
– Experience setting up and designing for a complete design system
– Supportive, considerate and a team player
– You need to have a deeper understanding of the swedish society and media

You need to show a strong portfolio where you explain how you reached your goal.
