Communications Specialist
Location: Stockholm
Period: 1 june – 1 juni 2027, part time 20h/week, hybrid
Language: Native in English
We are seeking a skilled communications specialist to join our client and support the creation of clear, engaging strategic content across both written and visual formats. This role will involve planning, writing, editing and coordinating a variety of content types and channels, including intranet stories, press releases and social media posts. Content is created in English, so being a native speaker is a must. You are expected to work at our Stockholm HQ from time to time, but work can be done remotely. This role suits someone equally comfortable writing copy and creating visual content.
Responsibilities
- Create, edit, organize and maintain (written and graphic) content.
- Create new content based on briefs.
- Create and distribute emails and newsletters.
- Collaborate closely with colleagues in other parts of the company when creating internal and external content.
- Drive social media ad campaigns, from targeting to data capture.
- Create visual assets to support content, including infographics, simple illustrations, banners and presentation materials.
- Translate communication performance and impact into clear, engaging dashboards and visual insights (to be used primarily in Power BI).
- Adapt written content into visual formats for digital channels (intranet, social, newsletters).
- Ensure visual consistency in line with brand guidelines.
- Collaborate with designers, editors and stakeholders to shape visual storytelling.
Qualifications/skills
- Strong editorial background and proofreading skills.
- Strong content organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Experience adhering to editorial style guides.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken.
- Comfortable with frequent cross-functional contact. Experience in stakeholder management.
- Ability to take your own initiative, and drive projects from start to finish.
- English at native level is a must.
- Experience with digital editorial publishing systems (CMS) and intranets.
- Strong skills in creating visual content (such as infographics, layouts, basic image editing).
- Experience working with design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) or equivalent.
- Ability to translate complex information into clear visual formats.
- Prior experience with Power BI, Power Apps and Power Automate is a plus.
